WWE NXT General Manager William Regal announced during tonight’s tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida that WWE NXT Champion Samoa Joe will defend his title at the NXT Takeover: Back in Brooklyn event on August 20th against Shinsuke Nakamura.
WWE NXT Takeover Event Renamed
WWE announced today that the August 20th WWE NXT Takeover event has been renamed as WWE NXT Takeover: Back In Brooklyn. The event will air the night before WWE SummerSlam at the Barclays Center live on the WWE Network.
