WWE announced on tonight’s edition of WWE Main Event on the WWE Network that John Cena has activated his rematch clause for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at next month’s WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view. WWE Night of Champions takes place on September 21st, 2014 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

WWE released their 2013 third quarter earnings today and released the buyrates for the 2013 WWE Money in the Bank, WWE Summerslam and WWE Night of Champions pay-per-views. WWE superstar CM Punk was visibly bleeding from his back after being put through the table by Ryback during last night’s WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view. Punk was offered medical assistance by WWE doctors off-camera after the bout was over, however he refused the medical assistance and made his way to the back by himself.

Ryback. During tonight’s Night Of Champions pay-per-view, we saw Ryback save Paul Heyman during his match and spear CM Punk through a table that was set up in the corner of the ring.  Ryback then put Paul Heyman on top of Punk to allow him the pin fall victory.
