WWE will announce on tonight’s edition of NXT on the WWE Network that the former Uhaa Nation has been renamed as Apollo Crews. Crews will make his official debut at the WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn live special on August 22nd, live on the WWE Network.

Uhaa Nation is one of the many WWE NXT stars that are set to be focused on in the fourth quarter of 2015 along with WWE NXT Champion Finn Bálor, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Blake & Murphy, Bayley, Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, Alexa Bliss, Hideo Itami (upon his return), Mojo Rawley and Carmella. WWE released the following video from last night’s edition of WWE NXT, featuring Uhaa Nation signing a contract in WWE NXT General Manager William Regal’s office. While Nation’s WWE NXT name has not yet been revealed, the vignette noted that he was “Coming Soon”.

Independent wrestling star Uhaa Nation has wrapped up the majority of his independent wrestling dates and will report to the WWE Performance Center after WrestleMania 31. Nation announced his departure at the March 1st Dragon Gate event following his loss to BxB Hulk for the Open The Dream Gate Championship.

In an update on independent wrestling talent Uhaa Nation joining WWE NXT, Pro Wrestling Guerilla have announced that Nation has been pulled from their event on February 27th. Top independent wrestling star Uhaa Nation is said to have agreed to a developmental deal with the WWE, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Nation is expected to wrap up all commitments on the independent scene and report to WWE Performance Center after the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view.

Uhaa Nation, known for his work across Europe as well as Dragon Gate in Japan has signed a new deal with Dragon Gate USA. The company are expected to tie down other names to new deals shortly.
