TNA Wrestling announced during last night’s IMPACT Wrestling tapings in Orlando, Florida that Bobby Lashley will defend his TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Eddie Edwards at the TNA Destination X pay-per-view. It should also be noted that Eddie Edwards’ TNA X-Division Championship will also be on the line in the match.

In an update on the TNA Destination X broadcast that was taped at the recent set of IMPACT Wrestling tapings, the broadcast will not air on May 22nd, despite several reports and TV guide listings currently listing the event for the date. The July 18th TNA Destination X TV special drew a 1.16 rating, rounded up to a 1.2 rating overall and the first time that Impact has topped a 1.0 rating since early June. The show had an average viewership audience of 1,494,000 viewers.
