WWE sent out the following: Ted DiBiase to pursue endeavors outside WWE As of Sept. 1, Ted DiBiase Jr. will no longer be under contract with WWE. Opting not to renew his contract, DiBiase has chosen to pursue other endeavors outside the sports-entertainment world. WWE wishes Ted DiBiase the best in all his future endeavors.

In an update on Ted DiBiase’s departure from the WWE, his decision to leave the company is not said to be a surprise as his contract was almost expiring and he chose not to re-sign with the company. WWE superstar Ted DiBiase suffered an injury on Wednesday’s WWE SmackDown World Tour event in Rosemont, Illinois. DiBiase’s injury is said to be a finger injury on his left hand. DiBiase was pulled from last night’s live event, which saw Jamie Noble facing off against Fandango on the house show loop instead.

WWE NXT star Corey Graves worked a dark match at tonight’s WWE SmackDown tapings at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina losing to Ted DiBiase.
