New Japan Pro Wrestling crowned a new NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion during today’s NJPW STRONG Independence Day 2023 Day 2 event at the Korakuen Hall as Eddie Kingston defeated KENTA to become the new Champion. Kingston’s victory brings an end to KENTA’s 45-day reign as the Champion.
