Nick Aldis (formerly Magnus in TNA Wrestling) defeated Bobby Roode at last night’s Global Force Wrestling AMPED TV Tapings in Las Vegas, Nevada to become the first-ever GFW Global Champion.

Global Force Wrestling announced today that former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Nick “Magnus” Aldis will debut for the promotion on their July 9th live event in Appleton, Wisconsin against Tomasso Ciampa. Other matches announced for the event include Sonjay Dutt vs. PJ Black, Santana Garrett vs. Melanie Cruise and BULLET CLUB vs. OI4K.
