Global Force Wrestling announced on their official website this afternoon that Bruce Prichard will be making an announcement regarding the GFW World Championship on this Thursday’s Destination X-themed edition of IMPACT. As noted recently on the website, the company stripped Alberto El Patron of the GFW World Championship.

Global Force Wrestling held a media conference call earlier today with Dutch Mantel and Bruce Prichard handling the call. During the call, it was noted that former IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley will be appearing for AAA in Mexico at their TripleMania pay-per-view on August 26th.

In an update on Unified GFW Global Champion and IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron’s current standing in Global Force Wrestling, Dutch Mantel and Bruce Prichard addressed the situation head on during a media conference call. Bruce Prichard will be returning to IMPACT Wrestling at this week’s television tapings, in a backstage role and on-air role, according to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet. The report notes that Prichard will be an advisory behind the scenes, however as to what his on-air role will be is currently unknown.
