TNA Wrestling knockout Miss Tessmacher (Brooke Adams) is now going by only her first name (Brooke) on TNA Wrestling programming. The change was made to return her to the Brooke name following Brooke Hogan’s departure from the company.

In an update on Brooke Hogan’s TNA Wrestling release, a report from PWInsider.com notes that the feeling within the company was that her role on Impact Wrestling had run its course and that it was decided that it would be best if both sides parted ways. TNA Knockouts Executive is reported to be gone from TNA Wrestling, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter who note that no further details are known at this time. The word had been making the rounds during last night’s TNA Hardcore Justice TV special.

Bully Ray defeated Jeff Hardy at tonight’s TNA LockDown pay-per-view at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Following his victory, Bully ripped Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan and then revealed himself as the President of The Aces & Eights.

Brooke Hogan as well as TNA Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode attended last night’s MTV Movie Awards and were interviewed on the red carpet prior to the show airing. It will be interesting to see if TNA Wrestling incorporate any of the footage into this Thursday’s live edition of Impact Wrestling.

The May 31st edition of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV in its new 8pm timeslot did a 0.89 rating, rounded up to a 0.9 rating overall.
