TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley will be making his return to mixed martial arts at the Bellator 162 event on October 21st in Memphis, Tennessee. The expectation is that Lashley, who is 14-2 in his MMA career, will face off against Josh Applet, who is 12-5 in his MMA career.

TNA Wrestling superstar and mixed-martial-arts fighter Bobby Lashley took just 54 seconds of the first round to defeat James Thompson at last night’s Bellator 145 event in St. Louis, Missouri. The win moves Lashley to 14-2 overall in his MMA career.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion and UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock was defeated by Kimbo Slice at last night’s Bellator 138 event via TKO at 2:22 in round 1. Shamrock was walked out to the cage prior to the fight by WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal.

TNA IMPACT Wrestling superstar and Bellator MMA fighter Bobby Lashley defeated Dan Charles via TKO at 4:14 in round 2 via punches at the Bellator 138 event that was headlined by Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock. Post-fight, Lashley was shown on-screen promoting TNA Wrestling as he was wearing an IMPACT Wrestling hat.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley has been pulled from next month’s Bellator 134 card due to an undisclosed injury. Lashley was scheduled to fight James Thompson at the event on February 27th, however there has been talk that Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal will step in as a replacement for Lashley.

In an update on former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Alberto del Rio returning to the MMA world, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there is said to be another MMA promotion besides Bellator that are interested in signing him and that Del Rio is expected to take the better money.
