Previously announced for the episode: — Casino Gauntlet Match to determine the #1 Contender for the AEW World Championship PLUS: Kenny Omega set to appear.

The January 1st episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS drew 588,000 viewers, and a .16 rating in the demographic, according to a report from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. The viewership is up from last week’s episode which drew 574,000 viewers, however the demographic rating is down from the .18 rating for that episode.

All Elite Wrestling have announced that Christian Cage will face off against HOOK as part of the January 15th Maximum Carnage edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS, and streaming live on Max and AEWPlus.com. ITV, who have been the UK TV broadcast partner for All Elite Wrestling since the company’s launch in 2019, announced via their press centre that they have extended their existing media rights deal with the company for 2025.
