In an update on WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, WrestleReunion announced on their official website on Thursday that her appearance as a vendor guest for American Icon Autographs at this weekend’s convention in Toronto, Canada had been cancelled and recommended that fans who were attending the event to see Sunny should feel free to ask in person if they need specific details, as Sunny also no showed two different events in Miami a couple of weeks ago.
American Icon Autographs representative Zach Benson noted that Sytch is currently dealing with some personal issues that has forced her to cancel her appearance at WrestleReunion and following her third cancellation, the company have no intention of working with her again. “The truth is, we are also losing quite a bit of money over her cancellation, not to mention how dissapointed our company is as well. Sunny has cancelled on us twice now, and we have no intention of giving her another opportunity at this point,” Benson stated. “She seems to be having “personal issues”, and for whatever reason she is unable to attend. Cancellations are one of the few pitfalls of this business when you have to rely on celebrities. This late in the game we are unable to replace her with another guest, because we had no warning that she might not attend. It just isn’t cool no matter how you look at it.”
Meanwhile, Highspots’ Michael Bochicchio noted that Sytch is battling a drug addiction stating that Sunny was a vendor guest, so there is no replacement on their end since they weren’t the ones to bring her in and she likely couldn’t get through the border because of her recent record and had an attorney working on the issue until recently and that he isn’t shocked that she’s not attending the convention.
