Former WCW Champion Sting is not currently scheduled to appear at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view next month according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that currently, Sting is being brought in for a WWE signing on Friday, August 21st and will then head to Wizard World in Chicago for another signing and is not currently figured into any of the creative plans for the event.
