TNA Wrestling superstar Sting is featured in an interview with the Phoenix New Times, where he discusses his future in wrestling, his involvement in the Aces & Eights storyline that will extend or conclude this Sunday, if he’s still interested in joining the WWE and a certain TNA Wrestling star he’d love to work with.

In regards to how much time he’s got left before he calls it a day, Sting noted that his status is always set at TBD (To Be Determined) around this time every year, as he thinks about how he can go for the following year and if his body can hold up. Sting noted that it’s kind of a play it by ear and see what happens kind of situation.

Sting was asked about what TNA Wrestling superstar he would love to work with and noted that the person is Magnus, as he’s closely watching him and feels that there’s something that can be done with Magnus, but noted that Magnus is a person that needs to find his own niché.

Sting talked about the current storyline with The Aces & Eights and noted that he’s not involved in the creative process and doesn’t know what will happen this Sunday, but said that he hopes fans will be satisfied when it concludes stating that there’s always a concern in wrestling when there’s a big build-up without any payoff and that there’s nothing worse as you get the fans involved and then don’t conclude. Sting said that he’s glad the storylines are what they are now in the company, however he doesn’t agree with everything happening, however, whatever is put before him, he will try to enhance or tweak or make changes that makes sense and makes it better for everybody.

Sting was then asked about if he’s still interested in joining the WWE and noted that every year, there seems to be talk of it happening and there are rumors that always fly and commented about how it was a big deal on the internet back in 2011 and says that with him being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, it may appear as if the WWE will turn the page and give up on signing him to a deal with the WWE. Sting noted that while this hasn’t got out much, he has worked with the WWE in recent years on being able to use his WCW career footage, which is owned by the company, for his own personal appearances at Christian events/speaking events.
