In the recent clean version of his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was questioned on what TNA Wrestling talent WWE should bring over if it ever became a possibility.
Austin said that he hopes what he says won’t jinx any of them, as there is a ton of good talent in TNA Wrestling and stated that for a while, it was speculated that WWE wouldn’t bring any TNA talent over, because the company wanted the developmental system to churn out talent and then stated that James Storm is a name he’d like to see in the WWE and that the WWE would benefit from getting a few years out of the likes of Bobby Roode and brought up the possibility of AJ Styles joining WWE, but noted that their names should be changed for valid reasons, but that it wouldn’t cost a whole lot of money or preperation time to get them on TV.
Austin was then asked about the potential of Samoa Joe’s contract reported to be expiring and the possibility of him joining the company, noting that Joe needs to improve his physique before being signed and said that Kevin Steen done exactly that before he was officially signed to the company, but noted that the roster is thin and dealing with big injuries and could use the help of new but familiar competitors.
