The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV Taping. The taping took place on January 10th, 2012 at the Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas and will air on January 13th, 2012 at 8pm Eastern on the SyFy Network.

Opening Segment
Daniel Bryan came out to open the show and talked about last week’s SmackDown where he walked out with the title, as well as The Big Show’s challenge from Monday’s WWE RAW. Mark Henry came out and interrupted Bryan and noted that he is banned from ringside during tonight’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, however he wants the winner of the match next week with the title on the line.

Singles Match
Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater.

Backstage Segment
Drew McIntyre is in the back with Teddy Long who tells Drew that after his loss to Santino Marella last week, that was Strike 2 and if he loses his match tonight, that is Strike 3 and he will have to consider firing Drew from SmackDown unless he can prove his worth. Drew tells Teddy that he will see a different side of him tonight and he’ll be victorious. As Drew leaves, Aksana walks in.

Singles Match
Cody Rhodes defeated Ezekiel Jackson. Following the match, as Cody heads to the back, he and Goldust have another backstage discussion where Cody tells his brother that he once again showed his dominance, before Goldust tells Cody that he doesn’t have any respect.

Ted DiBiase defeated Drew McIntyre.

Backstage Segment
Drew McIntyre is seen walking in the back to Teddy Long’s office. As Drew approaches the door, he stops himself and considers walking in, before turning away and heading off.

Tamina defeated Natalya.

In Ring Segment
Wade Barrett came to the ring and said that a few weeks back he injured Randy Orton so badly that Orton is out for a few weeks or so. Barrett said that week after week he is continuing to prove his dominance on SmackDown, however Sheamus came out and interrupted him. The two exchanged words before Sheamus challenged Barrett to a match next week.

No Disqualification, No Countout Match For The WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Daniel Bryan vs. The Big Show ended in a no contest as The Big Show inadvertently hit AJ with the WMD. AJ was taken out on a stretcher as Bryan accompanied her up the ramp to end the show.
