The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV Taping. The taping took place at the Amway Center on April 3rd, 2012 in Orlando, Florida and will air on April 6th, 2012 at 8pm Eastern on the SyFy Network.

Opening Segment
David Otunga came out to open the show and introduced John Laurinaitis as the new WWE SmackDown General Manager. Laurinaitis said that everyone is excited for his debut as the SmackDown GM and calls Teddy Long out. Teddy comes out and says that the benefit of him being without a job, is that he can say whatever he likes to Johnny and says that he couldn’t just walk away from SmackDown, despite not being the GM and says it was the best job of his life and that he wanted to thank the WWE Universe and hopes that they’ve had as much fun as he has had. Teddy goes to leave but Laurinaitis stops him and offers Teddy a job. Teddy says that while he needs one, he won’t take one from Laurinaitis and tells him to shove it, however Johnny tells him to think of his grandchildren, as Otunga also brings up the fact. Johnny says that if Teddy takes the job, all he has to do is say that Johnny is better than him, to which Teddy responds. Laurinaitis makes him say it louder then sends him backstage, as Teddy asks what his job is, to which Laurinaitis tells him that he hasn’t figured out that yet. Laurinaitis then announces that in the interest of people power, Kane vs. Randy Orton will be a No DQ match and that R-Truth will face off against Mark Henry and David Otunga next.

2 On 1 Handicap Match
David Otunga and Mark Henry defeated R-Truth.

No Disqualification Match
Randy Orton defeated Kane.

Singles Match
Ryback defeated Barry Stevens.

In Ring Segment
Daniel Bryan and AJ came out to the ring as the YES! chants began. Bryan got on the mic and said that if there was one good thing this week, it was that it allowed him to think about how everything was going so right, and then ended up so wrong. AJ takes the mic and says that he’s a great wrestler and a great person and she isn’t the only one that thinks that, pointing out the “YES” signs and how his name is chanted even when he’s not in the ring and that everyone is here to support him. Bryan says that it feels like everyone is mocking him and that if people were supporting him, they wouldn’t cheer YES at The Rock and says those people are sheep and it makes things worse that AJ cost him the title, noting how he beat 2 giants inside a steel cage and overcame 5 people in an Elimination Chamber match, but her kiss flushed all that down the toilet and it’s all her fault that he lost his World Heavyweight Championship, as her clinginess cost him the greatest night of his life, and the opportunity to walk out of WrestleMania still as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan says that he will never let AJ ruin his life like that again and that he still has his rematch clause with Sheamus and will wrestle that match alone, telling AJ to get into her SUV as he wants to get rid of the dead weight noting they’re through and the last kiss she got from him was at WrestleMania. AJ tries to reason, however he tells her to get out and turns his back as she leaves the ring crying.

Non Title Match
The Big Show defeated Heath Slater.

Backstage Segment
John Laurinaitis is in the back with The Bella Twins as Sheamus walks in and requests to know what Laurinaitis wanted him for, as Johnny says that Sheamus was being disrespectful to Daniel Bryan and Alberto del Rio kicking them when they weren’t ready and says that when he faces off against Del Rio tonight, they need to come face-to-face first. Sheamus says that Laurinaitis is right and proceeds to tell him a story about a bully.

Non Title Match
Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix. Following the match a video appeared on screen of FCW wrestler Damien Sandow cutting a promo in regards to people’s moral quality. It was then announced that the stars of The Three Stooges would be appearing on Monday’s WWE RAW.

Singles Match
Alberto del Rio defeated Sheamus via disqualification to earn a future shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Following the match, Sheamus hit the referee with a Brogue Kick and stared down Alberto del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez to end the show.
