The following results are from a recent TNA Impact Wrestling TV Taping. The taping took place at the Impact Wrestling Zone on February 27th, 2012 in Orlando, Florida and will air on March 1st, 2012 at 9pm Eastern on Spike TV.
Opening Segment
Bobby Roode is in the back talking about Sting’s actions from last week when Austin Aries comes in and says that Sting’s actions are terrible for someone in command and said that he hopes that Sting’s comments are legit and they leave and talk in private.
In Ring Segment
Kurt Angle came out to the ring and stated reasons on why he hates Jeff Hardy and said that he hates the way Hardy dresses, the way he strolls about as if he’s the top dog in the business and how Kurt’s own son idolizes Hardy over his own Dad. Kurt called out Hardy who came to the ring, slapped Angle, which led to a brawl between the two. It was announced again that the two would face off at TNA Victory Road.
Gauntlet Match
Kazarian and Christopher Daniels defeated AJ Styles. Prior to the match, AJ Styles got on the mic and stated that if he won the gauntlet match, he wanted to know what Daniels has over Kazarian and that it needs to be made public. Kazarian interfered during the Daniels/Styles portion of the match, resulting in a DQ, however after hitting his finisher on Styles during that match, he requested that his own one start and he pinned AJ for the win.
Backstage Segment
Bully Ray is in the back with a woman discussing the actions of Brandon Jacobs over the past few weeks when Bobby Roode and Austin Aries walk in and state that they want Bully Ray to join them and insinuate that Sting is the root of all the problems in the company.
Singles Match
ODB (w/Eric Young) defeated Madison Rayne (w/Gail Kim).
In Ring Segment
Bobby Roode, Bully Ray and Austin Aries come out to the ring and comment on Sting before stating that “they’re done” and then proceed to sit down in the middle of the ring and stretch out, claiming that they will sit her all night long, however the lights go out and Sting appears inside the ring standing above them and asks if they are playing mind games like he was when he tweeted that he was done and if not and if they are really done then it means that he can crown two new champions when he strips Roode of his World Heavyweight Championship and Aries of his X-Division Championship, but Bully Ray needs to realise that he won’t have a paycheck. All 3 men change their minds, which Sting says he’s pleased about, as tonight they take on Samoa Joe, Magnus and James Storm.
Singles Match
Zema Ion defeated Shannon Moore.
Tag Team Match
Mickie James and Velvet Sky defeated Angelina Love and Sarita.
6 Man Tag Team Match
James Storm, Samoa Joe and Magnus defeated Bobby Roode, Bully Ray and Austin Aries. Following the match, Bully Ray attacked Magnus with a steel chair and then went to toss it at James Storm who catched it, but ended up on the receiving end of a big boot from Bully Ray while holding it to end the show.
