The following results are from a recent TNA Destination X TV special. The taping took place on July 18th, 2013 at the Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky and aired live at 9pm Eastern on Spike TV.
In Ring Segment
Bully Ray came out to open the show and put over his title defense against Chris Sabin later in the evening and then called out Brooke Hogan. Brooke Hogan said that she wants to move on from Bully Ray, however Ray told her that she can’t move on until he says so. Hulk Hogan came out and told Bully Ray that enough was enough.
TNA Bound For Glory Series Match
Austin Aries defeated Bobby Roode to pick up 7 points in the Series.
TNA Ultimate X Qualifying Match
Sonjay Dutt defeated Petey Williams and Homicide. It was announced that Dutt had qualified for an Ultimate X match on next week’s show.
TNA Ultimate X Qualifying Match
Manik defeated Kenny King and Chavo Guerrero. Post-match, in a backstage segment Hulk Hogan talked about the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match with Chris Sabin and said that Sabin can take the title away from the hands of The Aces & Eights and bring it back to TNA.
In Ring Segment
The Main Event Mafia came to the ring and called out The Aces & Eights, however The Aces invited the Mafia to their clubhouse instead. A brawl ensued between both factions, which saw Kurt Angle being put into the back of a pickup truck and driven away, with Bully Ray telling the driver to take him somewhere.
TNA Ultimate X Qualifying Match
Greg Marisculio defeated Rubix and Rockstar Spud. Marisculio is the former WWE superstar Trent Baretta. Post-match, Bully Ray was seen on the phone talking to the driver. A few minutes later, the truck that Kurt Angle was takent away in arrived back at the arena, as Angle escaped and beat up the driver.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Chris Sabin defeated Bully Ray to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
