Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance during Wednesday night’s AEW tapings, and confronted Chris Jericho, challenging him to a ROH World Championship Match as part of the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view at the Manhattan Center in New York on December 20th.

Cardona last appeared for AEW as a surprise challenge for Adam Copeland back in March of this year.

Previously announced for the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view is Red Velvet defending her ROH Women’s TV Championship against “Legit” Leyla Hirsch.
