Former WWE NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura made a surprise appearance during this week’s episode of WWE NXT as the hand-picked opponent chosen by Tony D’Angelo to face off against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.

Nakamura’s appearance on WWE NXT is his first since the NXT Takeover: Orlando 2017 event when he lost the WWE NXT Championship to Bobby Roode.
