WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels took part in the pre-NXT Battleground media call today and discussed several topics, including the status of The DYAD (Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) on the WWE NXT brand after the duo previously revealed that their NXT contracts expire in October after initally noting that they had requested their release from the company over WrestleMania week.

Michaels said that the two were guys that he clearly wanted to come over from the WWE NXT UK brand as he thinks that they are very talented, but that he understands it from their perspective if they want to depart the company when their contracts expire.

Michaels said that he has told both of them that for as long as they are on the NXT brand, he wants to put them in a prominent role, and that there are no hard feelings in that respect, noting that there is too much talent there to waste them or leave it on the table and that if they don’t mind showing up for work until their deals expire, then he doesn’t mind using them all the way to that point.
