Former TNA X-Division Champion Seiya Sanada was part of the recent tryouts held by the WWE in Japan over the weekend.

For those wondering, Sanada currently lives in the United States, but flew home to Japan to catch the Beast in the East event and be part of the WWE tryouts which also included names such as Hikaru Shida, Leona Fujinami, Yohei, Nikki Storm and Hikaru Shida.

WWE NXT General Manager William Regal oversaw the tryout camp.
