WWE revealed during Monday’s episode of WWE RAW that Sami Zayn is currently dealing with traumatic olecranon bursitis, which is why his elbow has been taped up in recent weeks.

Zayn was set to team with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins during last week’s WWE RAW, but was taken out by JD McDonagh beforehand, however Zayn returned to in-ring action on Monday’s episode facing off against McDonagh.
