In an interview with Bill Apter of 1Wrestling, former WWE NXT superstar Sami Callihan (who worked as Solomon Crowe in NXT) discussed his time with the NXT product, starting up his own promotion and more.
Highlights of the interview are below:
On his many bookings: “I pride myself on being one of the most booked wrestlers in the world.”
On his time in NXT: “My time in NXT is something I hold very dear to me. I have no hard feelings towards NXT. I got to hone my craft and learn from some of the best minds in the business. Getting a chance to be in Dusty Rhodes’ promo class every Wednesday is time I can never get back.”
On his promotion Pro Wrestling Revolver: “My new company Pro Wrestling Revolver is running it’s debut show on June 10th. Jack Evans vs. Scotty 2 Hotty. Billy Gunn vs. John Morrison, and for the first time ever, myself vs. Bob Holly. It’s going to be in Des Moines, Iowa. Every show is a different roster.”
On his favorite moment in NXT: “Wrestling right here in Philly against Tye Dillinger, and being a part of the WWE brand and having the fans welcome me back. Philly is like a second home to me.”
