Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion and UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey nearly severed her finger while filming a scene in Mexico for FOX series 9-1-1, according to a report from TMZ who note that Rousey slammed a door and accidentally smashed her fingers.

The report notes that Rousey was diagnosed with a break of the tip of her ring finger and severe damage to her middle finger, which needed to have bolts and screws implanted and that Rousey remained in character until the director yelled “cut”.

The report adds that Rousey was back on set the following day and was sporting a splint on her fingers.
