With John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson scheduled to team up at WWE Survivor Series to take on the team of Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth), as well as the WrestleMania 28 match between The Rock and Cena being only a matter of months away, it appears as if a high-profile WWE Hall of Famer wants to get in on the action.
Speaking via his Twitter account yesterday, WWE Hall of Famer, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper stated that if the WWE doesn’t put The Rock, John Cena and himself in a Piper’s Pit segment within the near future, then the company are cheating every fan in the WWE Universe, before stating that he thinks the company may be afraid, however he isn’t. Piper then went on to ask fans to spam the WWE’s Twitter account for a Piper’s Pit segment between The Rock and Cena promising that it would be epic.
There has been discussion in recent weeks about having a Piper’s Pit segment on an upcoming edition of RAW, with many expecting it to possibly take place on the 3-hour RAW GETS ROCKED show on November 14th. The company are going to start throwing all the build and hype around Cena and The Rock’s WrestleMania 28 match beginning with this month’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, so Piper’s timing may be a bit of perfect timing regarding upcoming plans and getting the attention of the wrestling fans.
