All Elite Wrestling star Ricochet made a surprise appearance during Monday’s NJPW Power Struggle 2024 event, attacking Zack Sabre Jr. and in the process, issued a challenge for Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th.

Following the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match between Zack Sabre Jr. and Shingo Takagi, Ricochet’s music hit and he made his return to NJPW, attacking Sabre Jr. from behind. Ricochet said that it has been 6 years since he has been in New Japan Pro Wrestling and that he wanted a shot at Sabre’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, issuing the challenge for the Wrestle Dynasty event.
