WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair noted on his latest podcast that he tore his achilles tendon last week during the WWE tour of Mexico and said that he thought that he would need surgery, however doctors injected him with stem cells and while his ankle is not totally healed, he can walk around normally.
Flair also noted during the interview that ESPN’s 30 For 30 documentary filmed 6 hours of footage in the past week and that they will be filming more footage at WWE Survivor Series and that they will also be using footage from the WWE library. The ESPN documentary will focus on Flair’s life, including his wrestling career, the airplane crash back in 1975, his sons and his daughters.
