In an update on former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio reportedly appearing at the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble event on April 27th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the appearance is once again expected to be a one-shot deal.

Mysterio and the WWE remain in negotiations regarding a contract, however Mysterio is continuing to accept independent appearances, including a return to the AAA promotion in Mexico this June.
