According to a report from The Wrestling Observer, The Wyatt Family is set for a major push starting at SummerSlam this Sunday. Bray Wyatt is expected to win the “Ring of Fire” match Sunday over Kane, with Kane taking time off after Sunday to film a new movie.

The Wyatt Family is a major Triple H project right now and the feeling is that they’re getting ready for this push, and they’re being groomed for The Shield’s spot. With recent Triple H projects like Kharma and Sin Cara bombing, the belief backstage is that the COO will go hard with The Wyatts’.

Another note of the story points out there is a lot of talk about The Shield being moved down from their current position. We’ve reported that there has been backstage heat on The Shield after the way they reacted after their matches with Randy Orton, and some missed spots that occurred during the matches. They have come off as being unprofessional, and were on the verge of being punished by Vince McMahon. This has been the reason why we have not seen them in any major storylines recently, and why they were on the kick off show for the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, instead of on the card itself. As of writing, only Dean Ambrose has a match at SummerSlam, and this too is on the Kick Off show.  It will be interesting to see what the WWE decide to do with The Shield.
