Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dave Batista has been working on getting back into his old wrestling shape and is approaching his 290lb billed weight, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The former WWE superstar has stated in recent interviews that he would be interested in a return to the WWE to work against names such as Brock Lesnar and The Rock. Batista left the company in 2010 to pursue interests in acting, as well as a career in the Mixed Martial Arts world. He recently landed a part in Marvel’s big movie “Guardians of the Galaxy”, set to film this Summer, so if he does return to the WWE, he will be on a part-time schedule similar to names that have returned to the company in recent years.
