While both the WWE and TNA Wrestling make some cuts at this time of the year usually, a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com notes that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair’s days with TNA Wrestling are close to being over as there is a ton of heat on him from many within the company feeling that there’s no point in keeping him around much longer, based off his off-screen conduct and him no-showing TNA live events that he has been scheduled for amongst other things.

Meanwhile a report from Nick Paglino of WrestleZone.com notes that TNA X-Division star Alex Shelley has also finished up with the company. This would come as a bit of a surprising move as the company have been heavily promoting the recent return of The Motor City Machine Guns, who had worked TNA Wrestling live events over the past week.

Whether either man ends up in the WWE or any other promotion remains to be seen.
