Former Orlando Magic, LA Lakers, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics NBA player and well-known star, Shaquille O’Neal was a guest on the Abe Kanan Show on Sirius/XM Radio yesterday and noted that he is currently in discussions with the WWE about the prospect of facing off against The Big Show at WWE WrestleMania 28 on April 1st, 2012 in Miami, Florida.

The prospect of seeing “Shaq” compete inside a WWE ring will no doubt bring back memories for professional wrestling fans of seeing Floyd Mayweather vs. The Big Show at WWE WrestleMania 24, which drew a huge PPV buyrate and large media attention, despite the fact that it wasn’t the main event of the pay-per-view. Although the draw Mayweather would bring to the table in comparison to Shaq would be much higher, the prospect of seeing Shaq vs. The Big Show at WrestleMania 28 in a battle of two giants, has great potential.
