WWE SmackDown superstar Kevin Owens worked the Royal Rumble event over the weekend with a fractured foot, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The report notes that the injury is believed to have happened during the January 5th episode of WWE SmackDown when Owens faced off against Santos Escobar, and while Owens did an angle to build for his match against Logan Paul, he had been kept out of matches until the Royal Rumble on Saturday.

As of writing, there is no word as to how long Owens will be out of action.
