Long-time WWE executive Kevin Dunn, who held the post of Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution, informed the WWE around Christmas week that he would be exiting the company after more than three decades, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.
The report notes that a big factor in Dunn’s decision to depart the WWE is due to changes internally since Endeavor acquired the company, and that Dunn was “never going to do anything that was dictated” to him, as opposed to how he personally oversaw production in the past.
The report also adds that this was not an issue of creative, but that both sides had differing versions of how things should be run from a television production perspective.
