Top international women’s wrestler Io Shirai, who is known for her work with the STARDOM promotion in Japan, will be leaving the company to sign a deal with the WWE, according to a report from Tokyo Sports.

Based off the report, it would appear that 28-year-old Shirai (real name Masami Odate) will be working her final date for STARDOM at Korakuen Hall on June 17th.

WWE have live events in Japan on Friday, June 29th and Saturday, June 30th, so it will be interesting to see if any Shirai announcement is made.
