WWE have released 205 Live and NXT superstar August Grey from his contract with the company today, according to news first reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

Grey, better known on the independent scene as “Retro” Anthony Greene had been with the WWE since August 2020 and prior to signing held several titles on the independent wrestling scene including the Limitless Wrestling World Champion, Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, CZW World Heavyweight Championship, Chaotic Wrestling New England Championship and more.
