The following are the results of the February 24th edition of WWE RAW, which took place at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
In Ring Segment
HULK HOGAN KICKS OFF RAW!! “Let me tell you something brother!” Hogan says he is back home, and tells the WWE Universe that he is the host of WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans. Hogan goes on to plug the WWE Network, and how he is now able to watch past WWE Superstars like Bruno Sammartino, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin and The Rock. Hogan got a huge pop from the crowd, and RAW just has a special feel to it tonight.
Singles Match
Alberto Del Rio defeated Batista by pin fall. Randy Orton’s music hit during the match, and he came out and caused the distraction that led to the loss. Post-match, Orton talks about the negative reaction Batista has been receiving from the WWE Universe, and how he regrets coming back to the WWE. Batista says that he loves this business, and if they boo him, he boos them back. He’s back to become the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, “Deal with it.”
Singles Match
Big E defeated Cesaro (w/Zeb Colter & Jack Swagger) by disqualification. Cesaro was in control of the match, when Swagger attacked Big E and put him in the Patriot Act. Post-match, Cesaro hit the Neutralizer on Big E.
In Ring Segment
John Cena makes his way to the ring, and tells the crowd how happy he is to have Hulk Hogan back home and hosting WrestleMania 30. Cena goes on to discuss The Wyatt Family’s attack on him at the Elimination Chamber, and how Bray Wyatt cost him his championship opportunity. Cena challenges Bray to make another bold move right now! The Wyatt Family appear on the big screen, “Green Bay, we’re here,” and they make their way to the ring. Bray cuts a promo outside the ring, and introduces himself to Cena. The Wyatts’ surround the ring before entering and attacking Cena, who appears to injure his leg. Cena tries again to attack Bray, but The Wyatts’ have the numbers advantage. Cena is laid out in the ring, while Bray and his family are standing over him, “Follow the buzzards!” After the break, Cena is shown being stretchered out of the ring.
Singles Match
Sheamus defeated Christian by pin fall.
After the match, a video from earlier in the day is shown, where Renee Young catches The Authority when they arrived to RAW. She gets their thoughts on the launch of the WWE Network, and Triple H compares it to when the first WrestleMania was launched. Stephanie expresses how happy they are to share all of the video content they have, but she is interrupted. An irate Daniel Bryan is yelling at Triple H, and even challenges him to a match at WrestleMania. Triple H mocks him, and tells him they’ll try and find a spot for him on the card. He also reminds him he is not an “A” player, and Triple H laughs at the thought of facing him at WrestleMania.
Video Segment
A Black History Month video is shown which honors Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson on becoming the first African American Tag Team Champions in the WWE .
Backstage Segment
The Shield are shown in the back area, and Seth Rollins is questioning what happened to Dean Ambrose last night at the pay-per-view. Ambrose is annoyed that they don’t believe him and walks away. Rollins and Reigns are then interrupted by The Wyatt Family, and Bray calls Reigns and interesting creature. Reigns challenges Bray to a one-on-one match, no family members and no hounds at ringside, Bray accepts.
The RAW Pre-Show Panel, consisting of Josh Matthews, Booker T and Ric Flair, discuss the Kane and Daniel Bryan match that is coming up next.
Singles Match
Daniel Bryan defeated Kane by pin fall. Post-match, Daniel Bryan calls Triple H a coward! He says he challenged Triple H to a match at WrestleMania, but “he hid behind his wife’s skirt.” Bryan begs Triple H to give the WWE Universe what they want, Daniel Bryan vs Triple H at WrestleMania 30.
After the break, a promo for Lana and Alexander Rusev is shown.
Divas Match
Emma (w/Santino) defeated Summer Rae (w/Fandango) by submission.
Tag Team Match
The Usos defeated The New Age Outlaws by pin fall.
Singles Match
Bray Wyatt defeated Roman Reigns by disqualification, due to interference from Dean Ambrose.
In Ring Segment
Brock Lesnar makes his return to RAW with Paul Heyman. Heyman says that Brock Lesnar should be the #1 contender for the WWE Championship, not Batista. Heyman proposed to The Authority that Orton and Batista meet each other before WrestleMania, and the winner would then face Lesnar at WrestleMania. The Authority said no, but told Heyman that Lesnar will have an open contract to face anyone of his choosing at ‘Mania. Heyman said that Lesnar wants to make history, and The Authority are denying him that opportunity. We then hear the famous sound of the gong, The Undertaker is at RAW and making his way to the ring! The best entrance in wrestling! Undertaker and Lesnar have a stare down, and Undertaker glances at the WrestleMania sign up above. Lesnar shakes his head yes, signs the open contract, and Heyman then tells Undertaker he can sign the contract as well. Undertaker signs the contract through Lesnar’s hand, then choke slams him through the tables that is in the ring! RAW ends with Undertaker exiting up the ramp, and Lesnar laid out in the middle of the ring.
