The following are the results of the January 27th edition of WWE RAW, which took place at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
In Ring Segment
The Authority kick off this edition of RAW, and Triple H ribs the WWE Universe by mocking the crowd and asking, “Did somebody not get what they wanted last night,” of course referring to the hot topic of Daniel Bryan not being in the Royal Rumble match. They go on to recap the results from last night’s pay-per-view, and tell us that it was the most epic Royal Rumble of all time! Stephanie moves forward, and brings up next month’s pay-per-view, the Elimination Chamber. As she is about to reveal who Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship against, Daniel Bryan’s music hits. Bryan tells The Authority that people are saying one of the best parts of last night’s pay-per-view was his match with Bray Wyatt. They are also saying that his absence from the Rumble match was a big disappointment. Bryan said that he constantly asked them to let him enter the Royal Rumble match, but The Authority always said no. Stephanie told him that he competed earlier in the night, and they had to look out for his well being. Bryan countered by reminding them how many times he was put in a 3-on-1 handicap match against The Shield or The Wyatt Family, and how many times he competed multiple times on RAW. Bryan demands that he be put in the WWE Championship match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. He tells Stephanie to step aside, and walks towards Triple H, and tells him that he’s not leaving the ring until he gets his answer. Triple H and Daniel Bryan are face to face, when Triple H tells Bryan that they are not alone in the ring. Cue The Shield’s music, and they make their way to the ring through the crowd, but Bryan grabs a steel chair and brings it into the ring. The Shield surround the ring, and Ambrose and Rollins distract Bryan until Roman Reigns attacks him from behind. The 3-on-1 attack continued until Sheamus ran to the aid of Bryan, followed by John Cena. They each throw a member of The Shield out of the ring, and The Shield retreat back through the crowd.
After the break, it’s announced that a 6-man tag team match will take place in our main event of RAW, which has Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Sheamus squaring off against The Shield. The stipulation to the match is that all 3 members of the winning team are entered into the Elimination Chamber match against Randy Orton for the WWE Championship next month.
Tag Team Match
The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara by pin fall.
In Ring Segment
Wade Barrett is up on his high podium telling us he’s got some bad news! He informs us that there will be a match called the Battle In Cleveland, with The Miz facing Dolph Ziggler, later on tonight. He says it’s a good thing it’s not the Battle For Cleveland, cause it’s a town full of losers!
WWE Network Segment
A video is shown for an original show for the new WWE Network called “The Monday Night Wars.” The video highlights the battle between WWE and WCW, and has interviews with some of the key figures of the time, including: Eric Bischoff, Triple H and The Undertaker.

R-Truth defeated Fandango (w/Summer Rae) by pin fall.
In Ring Segment
RAW GM Brad Maddox is in the ring and introduces the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Orton demands some respect, saying he’s the Champion of Champions and the face of the WWE. Batista interrupts Orton, climbs into the ring and grabs Maddox’s mic. He reminds Orton that he came back to the WWE for 3 reasons, to win the Royal Rumble, to main event WrestleMania and to win the WWE Championship. Batista tells Orton it’s not personal, he doesn’t care who he has to face to become champion. Out comes Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman, who tells Maddox that Lesnar’s patience is running out. Heyman tells Maddox to go to The Authority and tell them they have 2 options. Either they authorize a championship match between Orton and Lesnar tonight on RAW or a match between Lesnar and the so called #1 contender Batista. Heyman tells Maddox they have to choose one for tonight, “or else.”
Singles Match – The Battle Of Cleveland
Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz by pin fall.
Tag Team Match
The Usos defeated Ryback & Curtis Axel by pin fall.
Singles Match
Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston by pin fall.
Tag Team Championship Rematch
Cody Rhodes & Goldust defeated The New Age Outlaws by disqualification. Brock Lesnar came down to the ring during the match, The New Age Outlaws left the ring, and Lesnar attacked the Rhodes’. Heyman grabbed a mic and told the crowd that The Authority did not choose either option, and Lesnar will not be wrestling tonight. Heyman tosses a chair to Lesnar, who repeatedly hit Godlust and Cody with it until the chair broke.
8-Diva Tag Team Match
Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Cameron & Naomi defeated AJ Lee, Tamina, Alicia Fox & Aksana by pin fall.
Hall Of Fame Segment
Jake “The Snake” Roberts is announced as the next inductee into the 2014 WWE Hall Of Fame class!
WWE Network Segment
Another original show that will be featured on the WWE Network will be called “WrestleMania Rewind.”
6-Man Tag Team Match
Winners Will Be Entered Into The Elimination Chamber Match
John Cena, Sheamus & Daniel Bryan defeated The Shield by disqualification, and are entered into the Elimination Chamber match. The ending saw the lights go out and The Wyatt Family in the ring attacking John Cena, which led to the DQ. The Shield go nuts when they find out The Wyatt Family cost them their chance of entering the Elimination Chamber. RAW ends with The Wyatt Family at the top of the ramp, Cena/Bryan/Sheamus in the ring, and The Shield by the announce table.
