The Authority are in the ring to kick off RAW tonight. Triple H is hyping the importance of this Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and the start to the road to WrestleMania! Triple H then says he is ready to welcome one of those Rumble participants, and says that they have “evolved” together. Just as he is ready to announce the return of “The Animal” Batista, Randy Orton’s music hits, and he instead makes his way to the ring. Stephanie McMahon asks who in the hell does he think he is? A video is shown of Orton attacking John Cena’s father last week on RAW, and Stephanie says those actions will not be tolerated any longer. Orton says he did this because of all his pent up aggression, having to face Cena again for the WWE World Championship, and having Brock Lesnar returning and waiting to face the champion. Triple H tells Orton that they made him champion because they believed in him, and he needs to step up, and he will have the chance tonight as he will face Kofi Kingston. Batista’s music hits, and he returns to WWE RAW after a 4 year hiatus! Three of the four members of Evolution are standing in the ring together again, as Batista is greeted by Triple H and Stephanie. The Authority give Batista the mic, and exit the ring. Orton extends his hand to Batista, but he does not shake it. Batista tells Orton he is back for those championships and to headline WrestleMania 30, “So deal with it!” Batista walks off and Orton is left in the ring alone and upset.

He says he just had to wait and pick his time, and last week in the steel cage was that time. Daniel Bryan says that Luke Harper and Eric Rowan are both in the Rumble match, so that leaves Bray Wyatt all alone, and he wants to face him 1-on-1. “Yes! Yes! Yes!” The lights go out, and Bray appears on the tron. “Being a traitor is a sin of the highest order! You didn’t expose me, you just exposed yourself as a coward!” It seems that Bray has accepted the challenge for the Royal Rumble (and that Daniel Bryan is cleared to compete from the concussion he suffered last week on RAW).
