– WWE SmackDown superstar Randy Orton is pencilled in to make his return to the WWE following his 60-day suspension for his second violation of the company’s wellness policy test on tomorrow’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, as well as Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Indianpolis, Indiana. In terms of the live events, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan who were part of the WWE SmackDown touring crew in Orton’s absence, will return to the RAW touring crew starting tomorrow. The WWE will be heading to Tokyo, Japan next weekend, where Orton is scheduled for the tour.
– Speaking of WWE Monday Night RAW, it appears as if the company has dropped the “WWE RAW Supershow” name and is now back to referring to the show as “WWE RAW”, a sudden change by the company, as all events were listed as WWE RAW Supershow prior to WWE RAW 1000. The company have changed their live events page reflecting the changes. WWE RAW Supershow had been the name of the show since August 29th, 2011.
– Despite Brock Lesnar appearing on television for the company, there are no plans for his wife and former WWE Diva Sable to return to an on-screen role. She was backstage at WWE RAW 1000 accompanying Lesnar, however she is happy these days being at home and on the road (when Lesnar is) with her family.
– Dean Ambrose is expected to be called up to the main WWE roster after the WWE Summerslam pay-per-view on August 19th. Ambrose is listed as a WWE RAW superstar in the souvenir programs at live events and is billed out of Cincinnati, Ohio as being 6’4″ and 250lbs.
– Kevin Nash as well as temporary WWE signing Mike O’Hearn are featured in the trailer for Lionsgate’s upcoming movie “The Newest Pledge” which sees a hard partying fraternity deciding to pledge a baby that they find on their doorstep the morning after their most decadent party of the semester. For those who are unaware of O’Hearn, he was temporarily signed to the WWE (then WWF) in 1994, but forced to leave due to contractual issues with American Gladiators. He made brief appearances for WCW in 2000. The film itself also stars Andy Milonakis, Jason Mewes and Mindy Sterling. The trailer for the movie is below.
