– AJ Lee has been removed from the “Santa’s Little Helper’s” #1 Contender’s Battle Royal prior to this Sunday’s WWE: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view with no reason given for her removal. Cameron and Naomi, the backup dancers to Brodus Clay have been added in her place. As of now, the match will feature Cameron, Naomi, Kaitlyn, Layla, Natalya, Tamina Snuka, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox and Aksana battling to become the #1 contender to Eve Torres’ WWE Divas Championship.
– Speaking of the Divas, several readers sent along note that the categories for the 2012 WWE Slammy Awards do not feature a category for the WWE Divas.
– Former ECW World Champion Justin Credible was backstage at last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings visiting.
– There was a scary moment involving Kane during his entrance at Sunday’s WWE Tribute to the Troops tapings in Norfolk, VA. As he went to walk off the entrance stage, he almost fell, however managed to catch himself, but in the process, tweaked his knee. The injury does not appear to be a major issue however as he worked the show and was involved in an altercation with The Shield on WWE RAW. He will also face off against Cody Rhodes on next week’s edition of WWE Main Event on ION Television.
– Speaking of WWE RAW, several officials are pushing for RAW to become a bit edgier in 2013 as due to low ratings, the company needs to put out a product that’s been different from the cookie-cutter type of shows that have been the norm and focus more on being edgy and heavy on wrestling. Vince McMahon is said to be on board with the idea, despite not been 100% behind it, however he realizes that with numbers and ratings down, it’s for the best.
