– Eve Torres attended the WWE NXT facilities in Florida this week to meet with some of the talents, as well as the 10 developmental Diva prospects who were wrapping up a 4 week training program. The women were found through the company’s “Diva Search” competition in Los Angeles and other cities and recruited at that time through modelling agencies. Speaking through her official Twitter account, print & commerical model and fitness coach Olivia Karpinski noted that she didn’t make the cut, but that 5 other women were successful. The other women trying out are Natalie Eva Marie (an actress, model & 2012 Powertec Fashion Model Winner), Aimee Fogelman (Model), Joseann Offerman (Singer & Model), Maysa Quy (IFBB Pro Bombshell Athlete), Jenn Sterger (Model, Actress & TV Host), CJ Perry (Red Bull Spokesmodel) and Courtney Camero (Played “Jaguar” on VH1’s “For the love of Ray-J 2”).

– The current plan is to announce a “Hell in a Cell” match as the stipulation for the Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar match at the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view.

– WWE recently revived to trademark “Kharma”, which expired in January of this year. This is surely going to raise a few eyebrows, as the former WWE Diva was recently contacted by the company about potentially making a return.

– WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase noted that his relationship with Virgil is completely non-existant these days and is aware of the stories regarding Virgil at a New York City subway platform recently. More is available at this link.

– Former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz is said to be back with the company leading into WrestleMania. Gewirtz was taken off the writing team back in October, but still remained with the company. He has helped to write several of The Rock’s promos since his return and has been helping out The Rock his new “The Hero” reality show on TNT.

– In updated business numbers for the month of January 2013, average paid WWE house show attendance was 5,409 in North America, which was up 1.9% from last year, while 246,000 DVD units (not total DVD sales) were shipped up 56% from last year. The most shipped DVD units were WrestleMania 28 at 237,000, CM Punk: Best in the World at 124,000, The Attitude Era at 117,000, nWo: The Revolution at 110,000 and The Undertaker’s 20-0 Streak DVD at 105,000. Meanwhile, WWE’s official website drew 14.6 million unique visitors, up 21.7% from last year, while the WWE’s official store averaged 677 orders per day, up 23.5% from last year.
