At last night’s NWA Hollywood TV Taping in Glendale, California, David Marquez announced that the promotion had left the National Wrestling Alliance and going forward, for the forseeable future, will be known as Championship Wrestling from Hollywood including the tapings that were done on the night.

Championship Wrestling from Hollywood was the top NWA member with the largest clearance and awareness and their departure is seen as a massive blow to the NWA, as Marquez had long been a true supporter of the NWA, however many are citing the recent changes of ownership as a massive reason behind Marquez pulling the plug on the deal with the National Wrestling Alliance.
