Following the news released earlier in the week from Steve Wilton, Webmaster of The Ultimate Warrior’s website and news from WWE Superstar Christian on his Twitter account that both The Ultimate Warrior and Edge were being falsely advertised to appear at Omega Sports in Queensbury, New York, the promoter Brendon Bronson appears to have skipped town after former WWE superstar Rikishi was scheduled for an appearance at his store today, only for approximately between 400-500 fans to find out that the store had been closed and cleaned out of all stock.
Mr. Bronson had been falsely advertising wrestling talent to appear at his Omega Sports store in the Aviation Mall in Queensbury, New York and had been issued a warning by Mr. Wilton on falsely advertising The Ultimate Warrior for an appearance to which Bronson is alleged to have replied that he had much bigger projects in the works and couldn’t waste his time in such a little one. Omega Sports remained open up to yesterday, where they were still selling tickets for Rikishi’s in-store appearance today.
Mr. Bronson is alleged to have left a note with a nearby Verizon kiosk apologizing to the fans and asked the fans who arrived to the signing to leave their name and contact numbers so that he could later contact them and left signed photos from previous signings at his store with the Verizon kiosk as a make good for fans that attended. The mall noted to fans waiting later on in the mid-morning that Bronson had left his premises to open a new store in nearby Saratoga.
