In a series of posts on his official Twitter account, All Elite Wrestling superstar Preston ’10’ Vance paid tribute to the late Brodie Lee (real name Jon Huber) following the news that Brodie, who led The Dark Order faction that Reynolds was part of, passed away on December 26th at the age of 41.

The first statement from Vance reads, “When I came to AEW and found out I was gonna be teamed with Brodie I was ecstatic. Shortly after I tore my bicep. I remember coming to work immediately telling Brodie, thinking I let him down since he had a pivotal role in getting me my position. He simply laughed and said good start kid, but you’ll be fine, you’re young and you’re jacked. He then gave me a hug and all my anxiety immediately went away. He’s one of the few people in this world I never once heard a negative thing about. He made the world a better place in and out of the ring. My heart is with his wife and 2 kids. And as for you, you are the toughest kid I’ve ever met and I’ll always have your back. #RIPBrodieLee”

The second statement reads, “After spending the holiday in Michigan, this is the first thing I saw when I walked into my apartment. I’ll never forget the day Brodie gave me his personal ring jacket and dubbed me the ‘white knight of The Dark Order’. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, he even had it hemmed up to fit me. I remember saying, are you serious (out of total shock) when he handed it to me. He responded with, yeah, I think it’ll look cool with your white pants and it will hide your bad wing till your back to one hundred percent. I will forever cherish that moment and this jacket, but that’s the kind of person Brodie was. He was always looking out for everyone, even the young guys. Thank you Brodie. #RIPBrodieLee”
