The Rock posted the following on his official Twitter account in regards to shooting a new movie called The Hero:

 

On another Rock movie note, he recently spoke with MTV News during a round of media appearances promoting his upcoming film, Hercules.  During the interview, The Rock was asked about a new role in a DC Comics adaption of Lobo, which he denied.

When asked if he was involved with the film, Rock said “I was for a minute, but then it kind of just went away. As things happen in Hollywood – for a minute, I was interested in it, and then it went away.”
