Dark Match (Non-Televised Match)
Antonio Cesaro defeated The UK Kid.
Note from Wayne: Many people within the crowd including Michael note that The UK Kid looked like Zak Bevis, however I can’t confirm that.
William Regal and Josh Mathews came to the ring, both to Regal’s music which got a huge ovation and a few “Welcome Back” chants aimed his way also, Regal seemed in awe at the reaction.
Percy Watson vs. Johnny Curtis
The crowd was very quiet for this one and neither man got that much of a reaction. That said both men worked a good and quick match that saw Percy win with what looked like a reverse F5.
Maxine vs. Kaitlyn
Johnny Curtis joined William Regal and Josh Mathews on commentary for this one. Said to have been a very quick match between these two. Kaitlyn is very popular amongst certain fans in the upper sections of the crowd, so it will be interesting to see if that airs on television. Maxine won the match with a submission. Following the match, William Regal announced that Maxine is now the official manager of Johnny Curtis and if both of them didn’t agree, they would both be fired.
A video is shown on the screen of Darren Young in the back. Young received a letter informing him that he had been officially drafted to SmackDown. The video then cuts to Matt Striker with Curt Hawkins who is smiling.
Reks and Hawkins then come to the ring and state that they didn’t kidnap Matt Striker. Striker makes his way to the ring and attempts to attack both men, however William Regal interrupts and announces that Tyler Reks vs. Curt Hawkins is up next with Matt Striker as referee and the loser will be fired.
Loser Gets Fired Match
Both men showed a bit of a reluctance at first. During the match Striker hit Hawkins with the cane and Tyler Reks hit a roll-up and won the match. Following the match, William Regal got on the mic and fired Tyler Reks also. Reks is seen going crazy as NXT ends.
