Mark Henry came to the ring to a “few” Sexual Chocolate chants and opened the show, followed by CM Punk who came out to a massive ovation and “YES” chants, it appears as if the WWE Championship Match is kicking off tonight’s edition of WWE RAW.

No DQ, No Countout Match For The WWE Championship – CM Punk (c) vs. Mark Henry
The two men brawled to the outside straight off to start the match. Punk then ran the barrier and hit Henry. Punk then tried to do the same from the ring apron but was slammed on the rail. Punk grabbed a steel chair and nailed Henry in the head. Punk then picks up the chair again and nails Henry, this time for a 2 count. Punk goes up top, however gets caught by Henry when attempting a crossbody. Henry attempts a World’s Strongest Slam, however Punk escapes and nails Henry with a kick. Punk goes back up top and hits an elbow on Mark Henry with the steel chair for the victory in an RVD-like fashion.

Winner and Still WWE Champion: CM Punk.

Following the match, Chris Jericho appeared on screen and announced that at Extreme Rules on April 29th in Chicago, Illinois (technically Rosemont, Illinois), it will be himself vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Chicago Street Fight.

WWE United States Championship Match – Santino Marella vs. David Otunga
The match was very short. Prior to the match, Santino came out and started playing to the crowd. Santino hit the cobra and retained the title.

Winner and Still WWE United States Champion: Santino Marella.

A video was then shown of Lord Tensai who told Josh Mathews to fear the unknown. Tensai never answered any questions and told Josh that he now knows what to fear. It was then screened that WrestleMania had done 1.3million buys according to preliminary estimates. WWE thanked the fans in the arena.

A video was then shown of Brock Lesnar swearing to the camera, however the swearing is bleeped out. Lesnar says that he’s not a superstar, he’s an a** kicker, it’s what he has done and no one has the accolades that he has and coming back isn’t a feel-good moment and he doesn’t care about anyone’s views on this, but WWE needs someone fresh as we’re tired of Cena’s b******* and that he’s real and Cena is fake. Lesnar says that Cena’s pissing and shitting himself and that at Extreme Rules their match will be just that and how fitting, as beating people up is what he enjoys.

Kane vs. Zack Ryder
This match ended as quickly as it started as Kane chokeslammed Ryder and then got on the mic and talked about SmackDown’s “Blast from the Past” episode and how he destroyed both Bob Orton and Randy Orton and noted that it’s true what they say, like father, like son, as both the Orton’s went down without a fight.

Following the match, we cut to a backstage segment as Kofi Kingston is talking to AJ. Daniel Bryan comes in and interrupts them and says that he can’t hear what both of them are now saying because of all the “YES” chants and notes that he has renamed the LaBelle Lock as the “YES LOCK” and then proceeds to start chanting “YES, YES, YES” as the crowd follows along and chant with him.

John Cena came to the ring to a chorus of boos and chanted along with the “YES” chants. Cena then got on the mic and cut a promo noting that WrestleMania 28 there was an end of an era, however there could have been the end of another era, his own. Cena says that John Laurinaitis is like certain people who say he sucks and that he has wanted to replace Cena, as he doesn’t have the courage to straight out fire him from the company, so he went and got Brock Lesnar to rejoin the company and that at Extreme Rules, he’s going to admit he’s afraid of stepping inside the ring with Lesnar, but he’s going to do what he’s always done and that’s never back down, and give Lesnar a hell of a fight. John Laurinaitis comes out and says that the era of People Power is only beginning and that tonight, Cena can get warmed up for the PPV with an Extreme Rules match and that next Monday on the 3-hour RAW, there will be a contract signing for Brock Lesnar and John Cena. Laurinaitis then wishes Cena good luck in his match later tonight.

We then cut to Hornswoggle in a library as R-Truth walks in as Sherlock Holmes. Your typical WWE RAW comedy skit basically.

Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston
Great match between these two that the fans were really into. At one stage, the fans started chanting Yes for everything Bryan was doing and No to Kofi’s actions. Bryan won with the YES LOCK, however wouldn’t release it. Sheamus came down to make the save and attempted to hit Bryan with a Brogue Kick, however Bryan ducked it and left the ring as the crowd started to chant Yes again.

Brodus Clay vs. Dolph Ziggler
This match was a quick one as Jack Swagger pulled Ziggler out of the ring and then went to attack Brodus Clay. Brodus catches Ziggler with a press slam, as Naomi pushes Vickie Guerrero to the floor. Brodus then danced with Naomi and Cameron.

A video is then shown of the late Chief Jay Strongbow, with the crowd applauding the video.

Non-Title Match – The Big Show and The Great Khali vs. Primo and Epico (w/Rosa Mendes)
A basic squash match with the giants winning. Abraham Washington came out during the match and watched. Epico and Primo attempted to head to the back, however Big Show chases them and brings them back to the ring. Both men hit chokeslams for the win.

Following the match, it was announced that John Cena’s mystery opponent is Lord Tensai.

Extreme Rules Match – John Cena vs. Lord Tensai
Sakamoto, John Laurinaitis and David Otunga were in the corner of Lord Tensai for this match. Tensai began the match by throwing Cena into the ringsteps and then attempted to powerbomb him on them, however Cena reversed and hit Tensai with the ring steps. Sakamoto got involved in the match by kicking Cena in the ribs. David Otunga then got involved in the match. The match returned to the ring as Tensai spat some green mist into Cena’s eyes and hit him with his finisher to end the taping. A lot of fans seemed stunned at the match outcome.

Dark Match (Non-Televised Match)
